Jean-Michel Basquiat is known in the art world for his bold, genre-defying works that blend pop culture and political commentary.
Basquiat is celebrated as a central figure in New York’s 1980s art scene that brought conversations about race, wealth and youth culture to the forefront.
His work appears in its first-ever exhibition in Athens, Greece titled, “Jean-Michel Basquiat: Untitled.”
Artemis Baltoyanni, art advisor and founder of The Intermission, joined “The Rush Hour” on Tuesday to discuss the new exhibit.
