It's one of the rare times a plaque from the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown is taken off the wall.
The Hall has brought the plaque of 2023 Hall of Fame inductee and former Cardinals third baseman Scott Rolen to Busch Stadium so the Cardinals can pay tribute to him this weekend.
"Baseball is all about history. It's all about comparisons to our past, and it is important for us to remember our history," said Hall of Fame VP of Communications and Content Jon Shestakofsky at Albany (N.Y.) International Airport.
