ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. — St. Charles County is looking to fill about 64 positions across 30 departments and will host a job fair this week for those interested to learn more.
Some open positions include police officers, street department workers, park staff, 911 dispatchers, office clerks, information systems, among others.
Officials say more jobs are being added annually to meet the demand of the county’s growth.
The job fair will take place Wednesday at the Missouri Job Center of St. Charles County from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Some job perks include competitive pay, “great” benefits and a positive work environment, according to the County.
This is the third job fair hosted by the County, which have been “successful” in the past, according to Paul Hunter, assistant director for Human Resources for St. Charles County, noting this is the first time having one in the spring.
“This fair, it’s a great chance for people to come out and get a job preview, learn more about St. Charles County (and) make a first impression,” Hunter said.
“A lot of our employees come here for the opportunity and the pension, that is fully funded by the County, but they stay because they’re valued and respected.”
Hunter said no resume or documents are necessary to attend the job fair. Applicants do not need to live in St. Charles County.
