COLUMBUS, Ohio — More than 11,000 people are expected to descend on Ohio State Unviersity's campus this Sunday to take part in what the college calls the "largest 4-mile event" in the country.
The Ohio State 4 Miler will take participants on a tour of the campus, and they will finish on the 50 at Ohio State Stadium. They'll be cheered on by Buckeye Greats, as well as student-athletes from the football, women's hockey and women's basketball teams.
The race kicks off at 9 a.m. at Ohio Stadium, but there will be a pre-race tailgate event that starts at 8:30 a.m. There were also be a post-race tailgate immediately after the race.
Participants will receive swag, a finisher's medal and a ticket to the Ohio State Spring Game on Saturday. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome, the university said.
