ST. LOUIS – 500 megawatts of renewable energy are online after Ameren Missouri invested $950 million in three solar facilities.

Together, the new 200-MW Huck Finn, 150-MW Boomtown, and 150-MW Cass county Renewable Energy Centers are anticipated to generate power for 92,000 homes annually.

"Customers depend on Ameren Missouri to continue investing in new sources of generation to ensure reliability and serve customers for decades to come."

The Cass County and Boomtown centers serve Ameren Missouri's Renewable Solutions program. Throughout Missouri, organizations signed up to take part in the program that increases their use of renewable energy and supports its development in the region. The participating organizations receive renewable energy credits.
