BRIDGETON, Mo. — Missouri’s first location of a burger chain will open on Jan. 13, according to the company.
Smalls Sliders specializes in fresh, cooked-to-order cheeseburger sliders, waffle fries shakes and more. The locally owned Bridgeton franchise is located at 12433 St. Charles Rock Road.
The facility, made from shipping containers, is 750 square feet and designed to encompass a top-tier kitchen, a walk-up window and drive-thru lanes for placing orders.
While outdoor patio seating is offered, Smalls Sliders does not have dine-in accommodations. Customers also will be able to order online for pickup or delivery through its app.
An official grand opening has been planned for early January. Smalls Sliders is eyeing Kirkwood, Clayton, Wentzville, St. Peters, Ellisville and Florissant for future locations. The burger chain has approximately 290 locations, either open or under development across the country.
Smalls Sliders began as a food truck in Baton Rouge, La., that launched on New Year’s Eve in 2019.
The food truck would park outside Louisiana State University, and after much success, the business opened a physical location made of shipping containers.
Small Sliders had to push back the opening date, which Spectrum News originally reported as opening on Dec. 27.
