ST. LOUIS — On Tuesday, police arrested another person involved in the death of Colin Brown, the high school hockey player who was shot while riding in a car driving down Interstate 55.
28-year-old Donovan Baucom has been charged with first-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon, assault and two counts of armed criminal action. It's the second arrest made in Brown's death, after police arrested 26-year-old Garrett Jordon III last week.
Brown was a passenger in a car heading north on I-55 around 10:30 p.m. last month when police say he was shot by a stray bullet. He passed away from his injuries on Nov. 27, just four days after being shot. He was a member of the CBC varsity hockey team and the O’Fallon Panthers Hockey club.
Police say they're still investigating the case and ask the public to contact CrimeStoppers to anonymously report additional information. This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
