ST. LOUIS – One Foundry Way, a $96 million mixed-used development featuring luxury apartments and ground-level retail, is complete and open. The lead architect and interior design firm, the Lawrence Group, made the announcement of One Foundry Way’s opening this week. It’s the first market-rate, high-rise apartments in Midtown in nearly half a century, claims the Lawrence Group.

What You Need To Know

  • The $96 million mixed-use development, "One Foundry Way," at City Foundry STL is open

  • Retail sits at ground level, just beneath a six-story parking garage and 270 luxury apartments

  • Amenities including a rooftop pool, a zen garden with live trees, lounges, a dog run, fire pits, and more

  • The designers dream City Foundry STL will become a vibrant entertainment, retail, and dining destination

Ground-level retail sets the foundation for the six-story, 481-space parking structure, and 270 luxury apartments build on top of it. The apartments include studio, two- and three-bedroom floor plans each with floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the surrounding cityscape. Lawrence Group says the interior shares the modern aesthetics with industrial styling that’s characterized in the overall City Foundry STL development.

“In the dwelling units, attention to detail and high-end finishes create a feeling of abundant space and a sense of quality and timelessness. The modern, clean interior design incorporates warm, natural materials, glimpses of exposed concrete, and textures and patterns that make the space feel warm and inviting,” said Lawrence Group Interior Designer Dana Peck.

Amenities for occupants include an outdoor rooftop pool, zen gardens with live trees, a fitness center, fire pits, lounges, bike storage, and a dog run. “One Foundry Way was designed with a focus on maximizing amenity spaces and private outdoor gathering areas that encourage social opportunities and shared experiences,” said Lawrence Group Associate Principal/Architect Jim Shearer, AIA.

The new building at 3835 Foundry Way, across from Ikea, serves as a gateway to the Foundry STL and builds upon Phase 1, a dream to make the Foundry STL a vibrant entertainment, retail, and dining destination.
