ST. LOUIS – The Flying Eagle has been relit along I-64 and Anheuser-Busch says it is how the beer-giant is kicking off the holidays around St. Louis.
The Flying Eagle sign was relit Nov. 12 at sundown, greeting drivers on westbound I-64 near Grand. The local landmark has been at the loaction since 1962. It was repaired and relit in 2022 but had stopped working shortly after. A-B says the sign is a time-honored symbol of economic prosperity in the city.
Anheuser-Busch’s original flagship beer is available again as a draft-only for a limited-time to the St. Louis community through the holidays.
The Lager beer first launched in the 1860s. Those who want a taste can find the draft beer sold at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten and select local bars. Anheuser-Busch makes Michelob ULTRA, Busch Light, Budweiser, and Bud Light.
For every draft beer sold between Nov. 11 and Dec. 3, one dollar will be donated by Anheuser-Busch to the St. Louis Area Foodbank for their Holiday Meal Program (up to $20,000).
The Budweiser Clydesdales will parade through the Soulard neighborhood from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec 3, also known as “Giving Tuesday.” While traveling through Soulard, they’ll make special deliveries of limited-edition Budweiser Clydesdale holiday packaging then present the St. Louis Area Foodbank.
And don't forget about the 39th year of the Brewery Lights even, which runs from Nov. 22 through Dec. 30 and features new experiences hoping to delight visitors.
