ST. LOUIS — Heavy rains earlier this week have led to flooding conditions across the region. The Meramec River and Big River are both swollen over their banks. The Meramec is expected to reach major flood stage later this week in Pacific, Valley Park and Eureka. Pacific officials are also asking people to evacuate. Roads have also been closed due to the flood waters.

Other parts of St. Louis City, St. Louis County and Jefferson County are still being impacted from the flash flooding earlier this week. St. Louis County has now issued a state of emergency due to the heavy rainfall and widespread flooding.
