ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo.—Starting today through Nov. 4, voters in St. Charles County can use a shuttle service to cast their ballot during the no-excuse absentee voting period.

The purpose of the shuttle system is to alleviate traffic and parking congestion at the Election Authority. As of Saturday night, the total number of no excuse absentee voters between Tuesday and Saturday was 20,619, according to Elections Director Kurt Bahr.

Saturday alone had 3,263 voters total between the St. Peters and Wentzville locations. The number of in-person no-excuse absentee voters has already surpassed the traditional in person absentee vote, which totaled a little over 9,000. In total, 29,912 people had voted in person absentee one way or the other.

Voters may park at the Crossing at Mid Rivers to be shuttled, according to a tweet from the St. Charles County government. The bus can hold up to 15 people and takes about five minutes each way.

Voting hours are as follows:

  • 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday (open until 5 p.m. Nov. 4)
  • 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2 (shuttle will not operate during this time)

Accessible curbside voting is available at this location.

Voting hours are also offered at Element Church in Wentzville.

  • 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday-Friday through Nov. 4

Accessible curbside voting is NOT available at this location.
