HAZELWOOD, Mo. – Bringing Families Together (BFT) is in critical need of more foster parents.

“The need for foster parents in the St. Louis region is at a desperate level,” said Kim Brown, Resource Family Development Director. “All across the region, we have youth who are unhoused due to the shortage. They are sleeping in office buildings and hotels.”

On Oct. 21 at 6 p.m., BFT is holding an in-person "Foster Care and Adoption Info Session" in Hazelwood at 7151 N. Lindbergh Blvd., Hazelwood, MO 63042.

Once a month, either in-person or virtually, the foster care agency holds informational sessions about fostering. On Nov. 19, they’ll hold another session by Zoom. The Dec. 16 session will be in person at the Hazelwood location.
