ST. LOUIS—Bally Sports Midwest is getting a new name next week. Starting Monday, it will be rebranded as FanDuel Sports Network.

The network will air St. Louis Blues games but it’s future with the Cardinals is still uncertain.

The Diamond Sports Group, which is going through bankruptcy proceedings, and FanDuel made the announcement Friday. Diamond's channels had been Bally Sports since baseball's Opening Day in 2021.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

David Preschlack, CEO of Diamond, said the partnership will elevate the fan experience and deepen “the incremental value we provide for our team, league and distribution partners.”

Diamond Sports Group has 16 regional sports networks that broadcast games from eight MLB teams, eight NHL teams and 13 NBA teams.

Mike Raffensperger, President, Sports, FanDuel, said “Partnering with Diamond provides us an opportunity to put the FanDuel brand at the intersection of the nation’s largest group of regional sports networks.”

The company says it has finalized deals with the NBA, NHL and its key distributors, according to a press release. It says additional partnership elements and collaborations will be introduced in the coming months.

When it comes to the MLB, Diamond Sports indicated during a court hearing last month that it would void the contracts of the Detroit Tigers and Tampa Bay Rays as part of its reorganization plan. It also said it would try and rework the deal of five franchises that are partial owners of their regional networks, including the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Royals.
