ST. LOUIS – Metro is holding eight public houses to share with customers the bi-state MetroBus changes being rolled out on December 2. One new route is to be added and 18 routes will see significant changes.

Metro says the changes are improvements that were made possible through their ability to retain employees over the past 18 months. They’ve added, trained, and held onto dozens of new MetroBus operators. 

Metro said they’re positioned “to make improvements to service frequency and coverage across several MetroBus routes.”

In Missouri the following routes will see changes:

  • #35 Rock Road 
  • #40 N. Broadway 
  • #41 Lee 
  • #47 Hanley 
  • #49 Lindbergh
  • #60 Shepley-Lilac 
  • #76 McDonnell-Waterford 
  • #77 Village Square  
  • #78 Bellefontaine 
  • #79 Ferguson
  • #100 Hazelwood 
  • #174X Halls Ferry Express

For Illinois the four routes seeing changes:

  • #12 O’Fallon-Fairview Heights | 
  • #14 Memorial Hospital | 
  • #15 Belleville-O’Fallon-Shiloh
  • #16 St. Clair Square | 
  • #23 SWIC (New Route)

Metro provides accommodations for the Open House including alternative format materials or interpreters. If you need an accommodation call the ADA service at 314.982.1525 at least three days prior to the scheduled meeting.
