CHESTERFIELD, MO. – Gateway Studios, a studio and production services business, is already building a large campus at the intersection of Chesterfield Airport Road and Spirit of St. Louis Boulevard. While it’s still under construction, Gateway Studios plans to develop 290 acres of land on the other side of I-64.

Stock & Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc. on behalf of Gumbo Flats Properties, LLC submitted the plans that Chesterfield Planning Commission approved in August. 

On 290 acres, Gateway Studios intends to build a contemporary lodge and wilderness area.

The three-story building features retail on the first floor, a restaurant on the second, and office or conference spaces on the third floor.

Trails, a lake, a garden, and a pavilion highlight other parts of the development. 

Gumbo Flats is pending review in Chesterfield’s development stage.
