It’s almost the United States of America’s birthday and the Fourth of July celebrations have already begun. Throughout the region on both sides of the Mississippi River, there will be many public events and fireworks shows to celebrate Independence Day.
For those that opt to shoot off their own fireworks, there are communities that allow so legally but remember to keep safety at the forefront.

- Bridgeton, MO, Bridgeton Fourth of July Celebration: Parade, food trucks, live music, firework extravaganza at “dusk.”
- Chesterfield, MO, 4th of July Fireworks Celebration: Pony rides, petting zoo, food trucks, kids zone, more, and fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
- Columbia, IL, 46th Anniversary Celebration: Concessions, bingo, washers tournament, kloepper tournament, live music, and fireworks begin at “dusk.”
- Edwardsville, IL, Fourth of July Celebration: Live music, food trucks, other activities, and fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
- Eureka, MO, Independence Day Celebration: Live music, pyro-musical fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m.

- Manchester, MO, Fourth of July Celebration: Live music, concessions, and fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
- Mascoutah, IL, Annual Old Fashioned July 4th Celebration: Carnival, bounce houses, foam party, concessions, and fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
- O’Fallon, MO, Heritage and Freedom Fest: Festival grounds, carnival, concerts on the main stage, dino encounters, and more, plus Fireworks Spectacular at 9:30 p.m.
- St. Charles, MO Riverfest: Live music, carnival, children’s activities, and fireworks begins at 9:20 p.m.
