ST. LOUIS — New amusement rides will open at Union Station next year in time for summer.
Guests can look forward to a mini spinning coaster, a pirate ship, a wave swinger, games and concessions, according to a press release.
The mini spinning coaster will reach a height of 22 feet and will take 16 guests on a ride of twists and turns.
The pirate ship will swing riders high above the park and offer spectacular views. It will stand at just over 48 feet and will have 42 seats.
The wave swinger will pay homage to the 1904 World’s Fair. It will elevate 64 guests to new heights as the ride is just over 42 feet tall.
Midway games will include classic carnival games where guests can test their skills to win prizes, according to the press release.
New concessions will offer a variety of classic carnival fare to sweet indulgences.
Construction will begin next January with an expected completion by Memorial Day weekend 2025.
The new attractions will be adjacent to the iconic St. Louis Wheel on the south end of Union Station.
