ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — The ramp from northbound Interstate 170 to eastbound Interstate 70 is closed while first responders work to clear the scene after a tractor-trailer overturned Thursday morning.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was pronounced dead at the scene, according Cpl. Dallas Thompson with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
He said the tractor-trailer was carrying produce.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash. No other vehicles were involved.
Drivers are urged to take an alternate route.
