ST. LOUIS — From eating Greek food to checking out new sculptures at Citygarden, there are several events happening in the St. Louis area this weekend, May 25-26.

Greek Festival

The St. Louis County Greek Festival is this Memorial Day weekend at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. 

The event includes Greek food, live music, dance and more.

It will take place from Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.

City Connect Celebration

The City Connect celebration is Saturday at Ballpark Village in the Together Credit Union Plaza starting at noon. 

The event will feature appearances by Cardinals alumni, World Series trophy photo ops, family-friendly activities, DJ entertainment, games, giveaways and more.

Citygarden grand opening

The grand opening for Citygarden’s expansion is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Folks can check out the three new and two returning sculptors that were installed earlier this month.

The grand opening will feature live music, giveaways and flocks of flamingos as a nod to Peter Fischer who led the creation of Citygarden. The event is free and open to the public. 

For those who follow Citygarden and the Gateway Foundation Instagram will have a chance to win custom-designed prizes commissioned by local artists and inspired by Citygarden.

Grant's Farm

Grant’s Farm opens for the season this weekend. Hours will be seven days a week through mid-August. 

The iconic St. Louis attraction  also will host several events, including Summer Nights every Friday and Saturday at 5 p.m. 

It will feature an all-new drone spectacular show, food and drinks and live music.

African Arts Festival

The St. Louis African Arts Festival is this Memorial Day weekend at Forest Park. 

The festival will feature an African market place, cultural performances, vendors, authentic food, African arts and crafts, children’s activities, African films and more.

The festival is put on by the African Heritage Association of St. Louis and is in partnership with the St. Louis Art Museum, St. Louis Zoo, the Missouri History Museum, the St. Louis Public Library, the Muny and Washington University.
