ST. LOUIS — Beethoven meets Beyoncé in a one-night only special concert performed by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra (SLSO) in June.
The “Beethoven X Beyoncé” performance is Steve Hackman’s latest symphonic synthesis that features Beyoncé’s 15 chart-topping songs with Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, according to a press release.
Hackman returns to lead the SLSO alongside a trio of vocalists, a guest drummer, guitarist/keyboardist and a bassist.
Hackman made his SLSO debut for his orchestral fusion concert, “Brahms X Radiohead,” in February, according to the press release.
Some of Beyoncé’s songs that will be featured include “Girls,” “Crazy in Love,” “Sorry,” “Halo,” “Cuff It,” “Single Ladies,” and her most recent hit, “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
The concert is set for Sunday, June 23, at the Stifel Theatre beginning at 7 p.m.
