ST. LOUIS — With Cinco de Mayo and May Day celebrations, there is plenty happening this weekend in the St. Louis area, May 4-5.

Cinco de May Festival

Approximately 50,000 people are expected to attend the annual Cinco de Mayo Festival on Cherokee Street, between Nebraska and Jefferson, on Saturday. Festivities start at 11 a.m. and end at 8 p.m.

The event will feature live music, entertainment, a family fun zone, Lucha Libre wrestling, a variety of vendors and more.

Main Street in Bloom

The annual Main Street in Bloom is set for Saturday and Sunday in St. Charles.

A parade will start at 1:30 p.m. each day followed by the Maypole Dance at 2 p.m.

Rosé Day

The 6th annual Walking Wine Festival is Saturday in the Central West End.

Tickets include a walkable wine glass and a passport to more than 10 designated tasting stations of hand-selected wines.

QFest St. Louis

The 17th annual QFest is set for this weekend at Hi-Pointe Theatre. Attendees can experience LGBTQ+ films and celebrate queer culture.

Greater St. Louis Book Fair

The 74th annual Greater St. Louis Book Fair is happening all weekend long at Queeny Park from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Attendees can find great deals on books, records, CDs, DVDs, comics, collectibles and ephemera. Admission is free on Friday through Saturday.
