ST. LOUIS — As Easter is this Sunday, there is time to participate in egg hunts for children and adults, in addition to many other events happening this weekend.

Eckert’s Adult Easter Egg Hunt

Eckert’s Belleville Farm will host an adult Easter egg hunt March 28-30 from 6-10 p.m. The event is for those 21 and older, and includes eggs scattered throughout the farm filled with huge prizes.

Each hunter is limited to finding 12 eggs. After the hunt, participants can enjoy live music and specialty cocktails in the Cider Shed.

Missouri Historical Society

The See STL: Gay Liberation in the Gateway City walking tour will take place Friday, March 29, at 2 p.m. 

Participants will explore places that shaped the Central West End neighborhood’s LGBTQIA+ history, such as nightclubs and progressive churches, the home of the region’s first gay community center and the starting point of St. Louis’ first Pride march.

Green Door Art Gallery

A collection of oil and cold wax paintings, called “Upon Further Reflection,” by Mark Witzling is now on display through April 5.

The collection is located at the Edward Jones Office of Bobby Lessentine. Exhibit hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Eckert's Easter Egg-Citement

Eckert's Belleville Farm will host its Easter “Egg-Citement” event March 29-30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event includes an Easter egg hunt in the fields, a petting zoo, tractor rides around the farm, plant a seed to take home, cookie icing, face painting, a duck pond, a free photo scene and a gift from the Easter Bunny, according to a press release.

Children are only required a ticket for this event that can be purchased at the door. Easter Bunny photos and Easter baskets are available for purchase.

Holi Celebration

The St. Louis County will host the second annual Holi Celebration at the Rock Road Branch Saturday, March 30, at 12:30 p.m.

The event is for all ages that will feature Indian cultural performances, interactive activities, food and Holi color play. Registration is recommended.

Trolley Tour

Explore the Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum on Saturday, March 30, on a trolley tour from 10 a.m. to noon.

The tour will be led by a master guide who will highlight the cemetery grounds, horticulture and historical figures who rest there.

Pulitzer Arts Foundation

“On Earth” features artists’ contemporary video and film works that explores the layered and nuanced relationships between humans and the natural world.

The artworks address environmental devastation, displacement and land rights. Visitors can see the exhibition at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation Museum, which is open Thursday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Animals Aglow

Animals Aglow at the St. Louis Zoo runs Wednesdays-Sundays, 6:30-9:30 p.m., through May 5.

The lantern festival features more than 60 larger-than-life Chinese lanterns and interactive displays in the shape of plants and wildlife illuminating paths throughout the Zoo at night.
