ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — The second person who died in Monday's shooting in south St. Louis County has been identified by police. Authorities say the shooting resulted over the sale of marijuana cartridges, which left two people dead and a third injured.

Sixteen-year-old Tyree Williams was transported to a hospital for gunshot wounds after police responded to a report of a shooting in the 5600 block of Chalet Hill Drive around 1:50 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found three males shot.

Williams later died from his injuries, according to police.

On Tuesday, police identified 15-year-old Colin Courtwright who died at the scene. The third victim was transported to an area hospital.

Both victims who died went to Hancock High School, according to the school's Facebook post.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has issued charges on suspects Tyler Coleman, 19, and Zachary Hough, 18, each with two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action and marijuana delivery of 35 grams or less, according to police.

The suspects are each being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond.

The shooting resulted over the sale of marijuana cartridges, according to a probable cause statement. One of the victims entered a suspect's vehicle and requested to see the marijuana cartridge. During the course of the drug deal, both victims were shot and killed, according to police.

St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons is leading this investigation.

Parts of Chalet Hill at Baumgartner were blocked off Monday due to police activity and motorists were encouraged to avoid the area.

Schools in the Mehlville School District were placed on the “SECURE” plan because of the police activity. Oakville High School and Oakville Middle School were dismissed with extra supervision, according to Jessica Pupillo, director of communications.

She said Oakville Elementary and Wohlwend Elementary remained on the SECURE plan until dismissal. Both schools used a controlled release and modified entry until dismissal time. There was extra supervision during their regular dismissal.

After-school activities at the above schools continued as scheduled indoors.

She said the district anticipated bus delays on several bus routes.
