ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo.— A severe wreck closed traffic on eastbound I-70 near Lake St. Louis Blvd. and backed up traffic for nearly five miles yesterday.

The crash happened just before 3 p.m. past Route A. MoDOT says the closure was expected to be in place for a couple hours while investigators are on the scene. 

MoDOT cameras show traffic was backed up as far back as the Foristell exit on I-70.
