ST. LOUIS—The Muny released it’s summer lineup Wednesday, and it includes two Muny premieres along with some favorites ready to make a return to the stage in Forest Park.

Here’s the line up:

  • June 17-23: Les Miserables
  • June 27-July 3: Dreamgirls
  • July 8-July 16: The Little Mermaid
  • July 13-July 25: Fiddler on the Roof
  • July 30-Aug. 5: Waitress
  • Aug. 9-15: In the Heights
  • Aug. 19-25: Anything Goes

Kofi Coleman, the president and CEO of the Muny, along with Mike Issacson, artistic director of the Muny, announced the line up at noon on the theater’s YouTube page.

Coleman said there were 348,000 guests to the Muny 105th season in 2022. He said the shows for 2023 were selected after taking into consideration customer surveys from last season.

“You picked this, so I hope you like it,” said Coleman.

The season includes some of the theather’s most popular productions like Little Mermaid and Fiddler on the Roof, which more than one million people have experienced at the Muny over its prior 11 productions.

Fans will also get to experience two never-seen before shows at the Muny: Waitress and In the Heights. The Muny will be the first theater to produce The Waitress in the U.S. after its Broadway and national tour.
