ST. LOUIS — Calling all Tim Burton fans as Burton’s Halloween Bar is taking place in Downtown St. Louis through Oct. 31.

Located downstairs at Utopia Studios located at 3957 Park Avenue, guests will be greeted by a Beetlejuice host who will offer them a complimentary drink upon entry with additional drinks available for purchase.

Lights, decorations and backdrops from Tim Burton’s movies, such as “Alice in Wonderland,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” “Beetlejuice,” “Nightmare Before Christmas” and more are displayed throughout the pop-up bar.

Don’t be frightened by the scary characters hanging from the ceiling.

Bar goers also can test their Tim Burton knowledge with trivia and search for characters in a scavenger hunt for prizes all while listening to the soundtracks of his movies.

While some guests thought the trivia was difficult Wednesday night, they told Spectrum News that the bar was cool.

“It’s something fun to do; something different,” one guest said who lives in the St. Louis area. “There’s not really a lot of Halloween pop-up bars.”

Another group of Tim Burton fans from St. Louis County said the decorations are cute and awesome.

The pop-up bar runs from Wednesday through Friday from 5:30-11 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Tickets for the 90-minute experience are available for purchase online. The event is for those 21 and older, but family-friendly sessions are offered on weekends.
