ST. LOUIS—There are several big events going on around the region this weekend that could impact your travel. From a music festival drawing thousands in Forest Park, to the Festival of Nations in Tower Grove and an INDYCAR event at the World Wide Technology Raceway.
Over the course of two days, over 15 national and regional performers will take the stage. The festival will take place in Langenberg Field and The Boat House. There will be some road closures inside the park. To learn more about the event, traffic and ride shares information, click here.
It’s the largest multicultural event in the region, featuring performers, food and retail vendors that represent more than 75 countries. There also will be community information booths and two stages for live entertainment from around the world. The free event in Tower Grove brings over 100,000 people to St. Louis each year. The World Wide Technology Raceway in Illinois will be hosting the NNT INDYCAR SERIES this weekend. The practice and qualifying races will take place Saturday with the 260 lap NTT INDYCAR Bommarito Automotive Group 500 race taking place at 2:35 p.m. Sunday.
