Keep your eyes to the sky this weekend if you want to see a dazzling light show.

The Perseid meteor shower is happening and there are multiple ways and places you can watch it.

In Wildwood, Missouri, officials with the St. Louis Astronomical Society will have telescopes set up at the monument field at Babler. Viewers are encouraged to bring warm clothes, closed-toed shoes, insect repellent, chairs, blankets, binoculars and red flashlights, according to mostateparks.com. The event will be held from 8:30 p.m. until midnight.

If you are interested in a longer viewing session, there is an overnight camping event this weekend at Washington State Park in De Soto, Missouri.

According to the website, tonight "special guest storyteller Flavia Everman will entertain guests around the campfire. This portion of the event is open to registered overnight guests and the general public. Flavia's program is brought to Missouri State Parks courtesy of the Missouri Arts Council." Tomorrow will include multiple activities as well. Click here to view them all.

And finally, another viewing opportunity will be happening at Cuivre River State Park in Troy, Missouri, at 8 p.m. Here's what you need to know about what to bring and what to expect at this location.
