ST. LOUIS — Independence Day is next Tuesday and several events around the St. Louis area have been planned to celebrate the Fourth of July.

Below is a list of Fourth of July events taking place around St. Louis:

St. Charles

The city of St. Charles Riverfest will take place July 2-4 at 222 S. Riverside Drive. The three-day celebration will feature live music, a carnival, food and craft vendors, and fireworks over the river.

Alton, Illinois

The Alton Fireworks Spectacular 2023 event is set for Monday, July 3, at Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater from 5-10 p.m. The event will include live entertainment and a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.

Fair St. Louis

The 140th America’s Birthday Parade will take place Tuesday morning, July 4, followed by the 2023 Fireworks Spectacular show at the Arch at night.

Kirkwood

The city of Kirkwood’s annual Freedom Festival is set for Tuesday, July 4, at Kirkwood Park, beginning at 7 p.m. There will be food trucks, music and fireworks.

Bridgeton

The city of Bridgeton’s Fourth of July festivities will take place Tuesday, July 4,  at the Bridgeton Athletic Complex with live music beginning at 6:15 p.m. The event will feature a variety of food trucks and concessions. A fireworks display will happen shortly after dark. 

Wentzville

The city of Wentzville’s annual Fourth of July parade begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 4, at the Wentzville Ice Arena. A fireworks display will follow the parade at 9:30 p.m. that can be viewed from Progress Park. 

Webster Groves

The city of Webster Groves pet parade is set for Monday, July 3. The Community Days Parade will take place Tuesday, July 4, at 10 a.m. beginning at Lockwood and Selma streets. A fireworks display will take place at 9:45 p.m. at Memorial Field.

Ferguson

The city of Ferguson’s Fourth of July Parade is set for Tuesday, July 4, starting at 10 a.m. at the corner of Adams Street and S. Florissant. The parade will end at January-Wabash Memorial Park where the festival will take place from 4-9 p.m. The festival will feature live music, a family fun zone, food trucks and a fireworks display at 9:15 p.m.

Manchester

The city of Manchester’s Fourth of July event will take place in Schroeder Park Tuesday, July 4, starting at 6 p.m. with live music and a fireworks display at dark.

Ellisville

The city of Ellisville’s Independence Day Celebration will take place at Bluebird Park Tuesday, July 4, with live music from 7-9:15 p.m. followed by a fireworks display.

Chesterfield

The city of Chesterfield’s Fourth of July celebration is set for Tuesday, July 4, at Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex from 6:30-9 p.m. The event will have live entertainment, children’s activities and food trucks, followed by a fireworks display.
