ST. LOUIS — One of the largest Pride events in the Midwest, PrideFest 2023, is set for this weekend June 24-25 in downtown St. Louis.
PrideSTL’s LGBTQIA+ family-friendly festival is a free, two-day event that will feature local and national entertainment, a DJ and dance stage, a children’s area with activities and games, a VIP experience, a nonprofit village, a military presentation by Boeing on Saturday, and The Grand Pride Parade presented by Edward Jones on Sunday.
PrideFest also will have food and merchandise vendors, giveaways, education materials and helpful resources for the community, according to the Facebook event description.
The festival brings more than 300,000 people to downtown, according to PrideSTL’s website.
National entertainment will include performances by actress and singer Kat Graham; Australian-American musician, singer and songwriter Betty Who; singer and former beauty queen CeCe Peniston; and award-winning actress and singer Idina Menzel.
PrideFest will take place on Tucker Boulevard, between Market and Olive Streets, across from St. Louis City Hall. Saturday’s festival hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday’s festival hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
