ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — The St. Louis County Library (SLCL) and Operation Food Search have partnered to provide free lunches for children 18 and under this summer.

Lunch will be offered at nine SLCL branches beginning June 5 through Aug. 18 from noon to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to the SLCL website. Pizza will be served on Fridays and meals must be eaten on site.

The summer lunch program will also include a new art project each week led by artists from Bread and Roses Missouri “that helps kids tell a story about themselves, their family and community,” the website states.

After-school meals will start Aug. 21.
