ST. LOUIS–As Memorial Day approaches, you will be able to get a St. Louis staple at a second location. Ted Drewes announced it will re-open the South Grand location starting Friday.
The location at 4224 S. Grand Blvd. will be open every day from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m.
A social media post thanked customers for being patient with the company as it worked through pandemic and staffing issues the last few seasons.
The post goes on to say “If there was ever a sign that the world is getting back to normal this is it!”
The Chippewa location will continue to open at 11AM every day.
Ted Drewes first opened the South Grand store in 1931. The Chippewa location on historic Route 66 opened in 1941. The custard shop’s original store opened on Natural Bridge in 1930 but closed in 1958.
