ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — The popular St. Louis County Greek Festival at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church returns in person this Memorial Day weekend.

  • The festival will have authentic Greek food, folk dancing, live music, and a beer garden for attendees to enjoy, along with a children’s play area that includes activities and a scavenger hunt

  • The festival begins Friday, May 26, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and continues Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Admission is free, but food, drinks and other items are available for purchase by debit or credit card only. The festival will not be accepting cash and/or checks this year

The festival will have authentic Greek food, folk dancing, live music, and a beer garden for attendees to enjoy, along with a children’s play area that includes activities and a scavenger hunt, according to Diane Sieckmann, church administrator.

“We’re very excited to be back in person after three years,” she said. “It’s been a long time, though, we appreciate everybody that came for our drive-thrus, which were also a lot of fun for the community itself.”

The festival begins Friday, May 26, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and continues Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to Sieckmann.

Admission is free, but food, drinks and other items are available for purchase by debit or credit card only. The festival will not be accepting cash and/or checks this year, Sieckmann said.

There will not be onsite parking, however, shuttles to the festival will be available for attendees.

“We’re just hoping to be able to have a lot of people come and enjoy the food and the atmosphere like they used to,” Sieckmann said.

Assumption Greek Orthodox Church is located at 1755 Des Peres Road.
