ST. LOUIS–You can now bring your pooch to the pitch at CityPark after Purina and St. Louis CITY SC bring the first permanent pet-friendly stadium space to Major League Soccer stadium.

The Purina Club features four loges, each with space to accommodate two dogs and four humans. Reservations are now available starting with St. Louis City SC’s home match on May 20 against Sporting Kansas City.

Several Purina experts worked with stadium architects to make dogs have the same enjoyable and engaging experience as any other fan.

“Ensuring the experience is as fun from a dog’s perspective as it is for fans, all while being safe and comfortable, is our top priority,” said Dr. Annie Valuska, a principal scientist with Purina focused on pet behavior and welfare.

The Purina experts and architects took part in several consultations and stadium visits to create the right environment for the dogs, including feedback from professional acoustical engineers.

The Purina Club is covered and will have water bowls, toys and treats. There also is easy access to a dog relief area. A reservation to the club comes with a Purina gift bag with pet food coupons, toys and treats.

“For many, pets are like family, and with Purina we are looking forward to bringing our fans this way to experience game day with their furry best friends at CityPark,” said Matt Sebek, St. Louis City SC’s Chief Experience Officer.

Purina says since announcing its partnership with Purina, it’s been working to make the stadium the most pet-friendly sports club in the world.

Before each home match, fans can also expect to see performances from the Purina Incredible Dogs Team.
