ST. LOUIS–The City Foundry’s newest venue opens this weekend, bringing wine, food and music together for a one-of–a-kind experience.

The City Winery is a 225-seat venue next to the food hall in the growing Midtown development.

The venue will host a national lineup of artists, including Gilbert O’Sullivan on opening night, plus The Verve Pipe and American Idol winner Kris Allen later this month. The location will also host standup acts and podcast recordings.

City Winery has locations in New York, Chicago, Nashville and Atlanta, among others.

The venue is the brainchild of Michael Dorf who founded the New York City location in 2008 with the goal to deliver a combined culinary and cultural experience to urban wine enthusiasts, according to its website.

It sources wines from over 30 world-class vineyards and even has its own head winemaker. The collection of wines ranges from chardonnay to sparkling riesling.

City Winery also offers a Vinofile membership where you receive a bottle of wine a month, a wine flight, invitations to other tastings, waived ticket fees and even free house seats.

If you purchase a ticket to see a show, it also allows you to reserve your table for dinner service before and during the show with no additional reservation.

You can learn about the full music lineup or how to make reservations on the City Winery site.
