ST. LOUIS–The Dome at America’s Center appears primed to set another XFL attendance record Sunday, three years after it set the first one as the Battlehawks return home for their first football game here since the pandemic shut down the league in 2002.

League co-owner Dwayne Johnson hinted that the league expects more than 30,000 in St. Louis Sunday afternoon.

St. Louis hosts the Arlington Renegades in a 3pm kickoff downtown.

In 2020, 29,554 fans watched St. Louis take on the New York Guardians in a Battlehawks home victory. 

This season, St. Louis played in front of a league-high 24, 245 at The Alamodome in San Antonio to open the season Feb. 19.
