ST. PETERS, Mo. – A man wanted for shooting a woman in a Schnucks parking lot is still on the run and the St. Peters Police Department says he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators are releasing pictures of Tyrone Miller, 24, to help find the suspect. He has been charged with first-degree assault and attempted robbery for the Mar. 3 shooting. Police say the suspect has extensive criminal history including kidnapping.

Police are also looking for 22-year-old Jayana Dobbs. She is wanted for questioning in relation to the attempted robbery and assault.

Miller is accused of shooting a 52-year-old woman during an attempted robbery. The victim was sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot while her husband was unloading groceries into the back seat of the vehicle.

The charging document states the victim's husband heard his wife yell, "No!" before he heard the sound of gunfire. Police found a 9mm shell casing in the car and recovered fingerprints from the passenger side window that were identified as Miller's.
Investigators determined the suspect's vehicle was rented in St. Peters in late February and used in a robbery in St. Charles earlier this month. The charging document also says Miller was positively identified in suveillance video from a Shrewsbury robbery. Police are also looking to see if he is involved in a series of similar purse snatchings and robberies in other jurisdictions.

Investigators say Miller and Dobbs frequent St. Louis City, East St. Louis and O’Fallon, Ill.
