ST. LOUIS– The Gateway Arch National Park is celebrating a jump in attendance. The landmark says it saw a 41% jump in visitors in 2022 compared to 2021. 

The National Parks Service released its Annual Visitation Statistics Report this week. The data shows the Gateway Arch saw 1,618,774 visitors in 2022, up from the 1,145,081 visitors in 2021. 

Also, the Arch had its best January tram ridership in 17 years. 

Arch officials are excited to see attendance increase as travel returns from the pandemic. The data shows that pre-pandemic, the Arch saw 2,055,309 visitors in 2019.
