ST. LOUIS — While police still search for a suspected hit-and-run driver following a deadly weekend crash, police have released the name of the four people killed in the wreck.
The victims have been identified as:
Bryanna Johnson, 18, Vinita Park
Anthony Robinson, 19, Jennings
Contrail McKinley, 20, St. Louis
Richard Boyd, 19, St. Louis
The driver of the Chevy Tahoe and three other passengers were critically injured in the deadly crash when a driver in a Chevy Impala ran a red light on South Grand and smashed into the SUV, sending it off a bridge, onto Forest Park Parkway before it landed on its roof, according to a police report.
St. Louis Police said the crash happened shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday in an area not far from the St. Louis University campus.
The driver of the Impala, which police say was sriving around stopped vehicle traffic, left the scene after the crash.
The four survivors were last said to be in critical condition at area hospitals.
A GoFundMe account has been set up for McKinely, who an organizer says leaves behind a 2-year-old son.
Investigators have reviewed cameras of the incident but do not have a description of the driver to share with the public.
