ST. LOUIS — T-shirts designed in support of St. Louis Public Schools (SLPS) in the aftermath of last week’s fatal shooting at Central Visual Arts and Performing Arts High School (CVPA) are available for purchase, but for one week only.

EducationPlus and its member school districts collaborated with Arch Apparel on the creation of the shirts where proceeds will go toward supporting the SLPS's ongoing needs, according to a press release.

Last Monday, police say a former CVPA student entered the school and killed a 61-year-old teacher, and a 15-year-old student, and injured others.

“All of us were heartbroken when we heard about the shooting and felt helpless to do anything,” said Paul Ziegler, CEO of EducationPlus.

“One of our member school districts suggested the creation of a T-shirt as a way to show our support and also generate some financial help for SLPS as they will continue to have ongoing needs in the coming weeks and months. We were thrilled that Arch Apparel was willing to partner with us on this project.”

The T-shirts, designed by Arch Apparel, represent SLPS on the front and have all of the area’s school district’s logos on the back. They are available for purchase on Arch Apparel’s website until midnight Monday, Nov. 7.

“Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the tragic shooting last week. We are humbled to be asked to be involved in such an important project in raising money for our education community,” said Aaron Park, owner, head of creative and business strategy of Arch Apparel.
