ST. LOUIS – The Amber Alert issued Tuesday night for missing 12-year-old Natonja Holmes has been canceled after police figured out she is with people she knows.

On Wednesday, Ferguson police said they found the van involved in her disappearance that happened Monday afternoon. Investigators say Holmes was last seen with two women outside Ferguson Middle School where one of suspects guided her into the van and drove off.

Ferguson Police Chief Frank McCall told Spectrum News that Holmes is with her older sister, but police have not located Holmes or her sister.

Holmes is described as being 4-foot-7 and 120 lbs. She was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

Surveillance video captured an image of one of the suspects. One of the suspect's was seen wearing a pink hat, unknown shirt and turquoise leggings at the time of the incident.

Earlier this week, Ferguson police released information about the missing girl. When Holmes' parents saw the surveillance video and did not recognize the van or the suspect, an Amber Alert was issued, according to police.

For safety, additional police officers will be on and around Ferguson Middle School campus. Call 911 or the Ferguson Police Department at 314-522-3100 if you have any information.
