ST. LOUIS– Two of three now-former members of the St. Louis Board of Aldermen charged in a federal corruption probe will plead guilty in court next week.

According to court records filed Friday, former Alderman Jeffrey Boyd, will enter a change of plea on Friday Aug. 26. Boyd, former Alderman John Collins- Muhammad and former Board President Lewis Reed were charged in June in connection with pay for play schemes tied to tax abatements.

On Tuesday Aug. 23, Collins-Muhammad will plead guilty to three counts, including Bribery Concerning Programs Receiving Federal Funds, a violation of the Travel Act and one count of Honest Services Fraud.

Pending counts against Boyd include Theft or Bribery Concerning Programs Receiving Federal Funds and Racketeering-Bribery.

Reed also faces Theft or Bribery Concerning Programs Receiving Federal Funds and Racketeering-Bribery counts.
