The Missouri primary is in the books and Tuesday's winners are now looking towards the November general election. Missouri AG Eric Schmitt won the GOP nomination for the U.S. Senate seat open due to Sen. Roy Blunt's retirement. It was also the first election since Missouri redrew its Congressional maps. The St. Louis area incumbents in the newly drawn districts easily won the primaries.
Katherine Pinner, a political newcomer, did win the Republican nomination for St. Louis County Executive over State Rep. Shamed Dogan. Pinner will take on incumbent Sam Page who won his party's nomination today.
