ST. LOUIS — A place to unleash one’s inner Karen is coming to St. Louis early this fall as an interactive, pop-up dining experience will feature awful service, singing waiters and regular appearances from the manager.
Karen’s Diner is set to open at an unknown location on Gravios Avenue this September, according to a press release.
With locations across the country and around the world, the 1950s themed restaurant offers handcrafted burgers, wings, hotdogs, milkshakes, cocktails and a “horrendously good time.”
“At Karen’s, you will be greeted and waited upon by rude waiters who in return are expecting you to give it full Karen. A place where you can complain until the cows come home because we literally don't care,” the website states.
If a customer’s name is Karen, they can show their ID to receive a free drink.
The website warns that rude language will be used and minors are not recommended to come after 6 p.m. on weekdays and after 5 p.m. on weekends.
To reserve a seat, early bird tickets are now available for purchase. The ticket price will be deducted from the bill at the restaurant, according to the press release.
