Road restrictions will take place Saturday and Sunday between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. along I-55/70 and Collinsville Road. Southbound IL 203 will be closed to normal traffic between Bend Road and I-55/70, according to a press release. Attendees with a parking pass or credentials will be allowed through during that time period.

Raceway parking passes are now required and must be purchased before arrivals. Parking passes have directions to each parking location. This information also can be found on the track’s website, and will be shared with multiple mapping applications.

“To ensure the smoothest event access, follow these directions, all signage near the track, and the directions of law enforcement on site. Even if you are a regular track patron, there have been many upgrades inside and around World Wide Technology Raceway which may change your route or destination on the property,” according to the press release.

For public transportation to the Raceway, Madison County and St. Clair County Transit Services will provide bus connections to the Emerson Park Metrolink facility. Free shuttles will be provided from the Emerson Park multi-modal facility in East St. Louis to the Raceway.

The Gateway Golf Course, located north of the track, has been designated for car service drop-offs and pickups.

Other traffic restrictions will be implemented throughout each day that may impact around the Raceway depending on traffic volume, the press release states, including a lane reduction westbound I-55/70 at the end of races each day.

“When feasible, use of alternate routes should be considered. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to changing conditions and signs, obey the posted speed limits, refrain from using mobile devices, and be alert for police, workers, pedestrians, and equipment,” the press release states.
