ST. LOUIS—The full St. Louis Board of Aldermen is returning to meeting virtually this week after one lawmaker tested positive for COVID-19.

A spokesperson for Board President Lewis Reed said lawmakers’ offices and chambers are getting a “thorough cleaning.”

The Board typically meets Fridays, but will move to Thursday this week because of the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Committees have continued meeting virtually since the onset of the pandemic. The full board will return to an in-person setting June 3.
