ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. — The Missouri Department of Transportation will close Route 370 flyover exit ramp to eastbound Interstate 70 for bridge work starting Wednesday, April 13, at 6 a.m.
To access eastbound I-70, drivers will detour to westbound I-70 and exit at Mid Rivers Mall Drive, then turn east on Veterans Memorial Parkway and merge onto eastbound I-70, according to a press release.
The project is expected to last about a month.
Multiple EF1 tornadoes touched down in southeastern Missouri and west-central Illinois on Monday.
Another round of tornadoes has struck the central U.S. after four days of tornadoes, thunderstorms and heavy rain killed more than two dozen people.
NWS says hazardous weather will range from thunderstorms and potentially baseball-sized hail to dangerous heat and heavy mountain snow.

The EF3 tornado touched down in St. Louis County and moved through north St. Louis City before lifting in Madison County, Ill causing major damage.
