ST. LOUIS  – There is still time to make a reservation for Valentine's Day and a St. Louis spot has made Open Table's list of 100 Most Romantic Restaurants of 2022. Brasserie by Niche is the only Missouri restaurant on the list. 

Open Table says the list is determined by analyzing more than 12.4 million reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners.

After nearly two years of celebrating at home, Valentine’s Day outings are much overdue, with survey findings revealing 34% of US adults who celebrate the holiday haven’t dined out for Valentine’s Day since before 2019.

"Our data suggests that Valentine’s Day dining is rebounding this year, with reservations up 30% nationwide compared to last year,"  said Susan Lee, Chief Growth Officer at OpenTable in a press release. “We’re excited to see this momentum leading up to what has traditionally been one of the biggest dining days of the year for restaurants.”

Brasserie by Niche, located in the Central West End, has 4.8 out of 5 stars on OpenTable after more than 2,900 reviews.The site says the popular dishes are french onion soup, roasted chicken, and braised beef.

The restaurant does have a few reservations left on Friday night but appears to be booked for the rest of the weekend and Valentine's Day evening. You can check out their menu and make a reservation on Brasserie by Niche's website.
