A new food garden is opening in Cottleville this spring and it's from the same team behind the popular 9 Mile Garden in Affton.

Frankie Martin's Garden will feature rotating food trucks as well as a new barn that will be used as a beer canteen.

What You Need To Know

  • Frankie Martin's Garden is from same team as 9 Mile Garden
  • There will be rotating food trucks and a beer canteen
  • Materials from a barn on the property will be repurposed during development
  • The spring date has not been announced yet

Construction is underway now according to a Facebook post by 9 Mile Garden. Materials from existing barns and sheds will be repurposed throughout the development.

The city of Cottleville announced the plans for the food truck garden last June. The existing home on the property will be preserved and the owners are in the process of placing it on the National Register of Historic Places.

9 Mile Garden says the new location will not only have award-winning food trucks but will offer more than 200 whiskeys and beers from across the country.

The family-friendly facility also plans to have a stage featuring live music and a screen for movies. Plans also include a mural featuring the history of Cottleville.
