A Gardiner man was killed Thursday in a single-vehicle highway crash on Thursday.
State police responded at around 7 a.m. to a pickup truck among the trees in the median of Interstate 95 in Sidney, according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss.
Police arrived to find the driver of the Nissan pickup, Philip Marson, 69, of Gardiner, deceased.
There were no other occupants.
“The crash is still under investigation,” Moss stated, “however, speed appears to be a factor.”
The crash is under investigation.
Sidney Fire Department and Ready Road Tow Service assisted at the scene.
